Over two decades of advanced research in traditional and contemporary defensive techniques are united to form the system of Kosen Bujutsu. The progressive sciences of movement, fitness and strategy are taught in harmony with the traditional arts of Karate, Ju Jutsu, Kobudo, Tai Chi, and Goshin Jutsu. The Academy of Martial Arts is a Black Belt School. We see every student at AMA as a future Black Belt and focus his or her training towards achieving this goal. We have had the opportunity to teach hundreds of girls and boys over the years and have watched many grow up into successful adults. We have seen most of our Black Belt Graduates go off to College or University and now enjoy professional careers. Success in this one area of their lives helped these students to achieve success in many others. The Black Belt Club (BBC) was created to help ensure your child’s success with this on specific goal in mind.
Perhaps you have seen some of our BBC members in your child’s class, they are the ones wearing an all black uniform. More then just the uniform, BBC members can train in up to three classes a week. They also enjoy monthly BBC only training sessions, and qualify for our junior Black Belt program. These extra classes help us to prepare our BBC members to grade for their Black Belt before going away to College or University. A special student card is given to all BBC members entitling them 10% discount for Dojo merchandise, seminars and grading fees. In addition to all of these benefits the BBC program offers your family both immediate and long-term savings.
After the initial investment in a BBC membership, there is a small yearly maintenance fee, about one quarter of what you are paying now. After all, this is an investment in your child’s future and not to be entered lightly, however you will find that for the committed students, this program is financially beneficial to your family. After three years you will see the BBC membership becoming more economical that the cumulative cost of the yearly term. By the fifth year you will find that the total cost of BBC memberships is less than 90% of what you would have spent without it. This does not even take into account the: expanded class schedule , free monthly BBC seminars, junior Black Belt program, and 10% discount on all Dojo merchandise.
If you are serious about helping your child develop into a success, then the BBC program is for you. If your child is committed to their Martial Arts training then the BBC membership is right for them too. How many times have you heard your child talk about their Black Belt; now ask yourself, how many more years before they graduate High School?
To qualify for BBC you child must hold a minimum rank of Orange belt and meet the following conditions: they consistently maintain parents’ expectations of academic standards, they regularly attend two classes per week, and they demonstrate a strong work ethic in class.
