The AMA Rep Team is hosting a Flapjack Fundraiser Breakfast at Applebee's to support their big trip to the the Alberta Bushido Open in beautiful Sylvan Lake, Alberta hosted by the Central Alberta Martial Arts Centre.
Tickets are $10 and must be purchased at the dojo prior to Sunday.
The trip to Alberta will start with their arrival in Sylvan Lake on the Friday afternoon with lots of time to practice and tour the town. The tournament takes place all day Staurday where the team will compete in Sparring, Weapons, Empty Hand Forms and Grappling. On Sunday the team is heading to Banff for two days! It's going to be a blast!!

The Academy of Martial Arts will step into the ring to help fight diabetes with Karate Chops Diabetes. Through this exciting program, AMA has committed to raise a minimum of $250,000 to support the Canadian Clinical Trial Network through JDRF.
The first fundraising event will be held at the Powerade Centre in Brampton, ON, November 24, 2012. The JDRF Karate Chops Diabetes donation page will be available starting March 1, 2012.
