On Saturday May 12th the Academy of martial Arts will join the "Fight for Sight" to support the CNIB.
AMA Members who have registered for this event, have committed to 2 hours of continuous grappling. The event will take place in total darkness and the member will be switching partners every 5 minutes.
There will also be a BBQ outside for anyone that would like to drop by and say hi.

The AMA Rep Team is hosting a Flapjack Fundraiser Breakfast at Applebee's to support their big trip to the the Alberta Bushido Open in beautiful Sylvan Lake, Alberta hosted by the Central Alberta Martial Arts Centre.
Tickets are $10 and must be purchased at the dojo prior to Sunday.
The trip to Alberta will start with their arrival in Sylvan Lake on the Friday afternoon with lots of time to practice and tour the town. The tournament takes place all day Staurday where the team will compete in Sparring, Weapons, Empty Hand Forms and Grappling. On Sunday the team is heading to Banff for two days! It's going to be a blast!!
