Debbie Hamilton

The chief instructor at the Naples Academy of Martial Arts is Debbie Hamilton. Sensei Hamilton embarked on her Martial Arts training in Brampton, Ontario under the tutelage of Shihan Cyr where she continues her training.  

Miss Hamilton began  her journey and lifelong dedication to the propagation of the Martial Arts in October 2000 and  opened a second  Academy to enable all children from Collier County to benefit from the Martial Arts as she has.

Martial Arts have taken Miss Hamilton around the world including China and Japan which allows her the opportunities to train with some of the most well known martial arts instructors such as:

• Sensei Kim
• Shihan Cyr
• Bill Wallace
• Kathy Long
• Professor Behring of Brazil
• Fumeo Demura

In addition to her traditional Martial Arts training, Miss Hamilton founded “Stranger Danger Collier” which is a volunteer program designed at keeping kids safe.  Working with the community demonstrates our commitment to educating children and increasing awareness of possible dangers they may face. This program is taught to over 10,000 children annually.  We as a community oriented school are very proud of our community and we are grateful to be given the opportunity to teach this program to local children.

Miss Hamilton continues her studies in Karate, Kobudo, Jiu Jitsu and Tai Chi.  Her passion for the Martial Arts allows those who chose to take the journey to benefit from her dedication to the art and love of teaching others.
